14. Sync workouts from Strava to Movyn App
Sync workouts from Strava to Movyn
Trained with Strava? Once it is connected, Movyn brings the activity in for you. You do not need to do anything else.
Before you start
----------------
• Have Strava connected to Movyn (see tutorial no. 12).
• Have done a ride recorded on Strava.
Step by step
------------
Your ride is linked to the same day's workout — After cycling, open Movyn. It retrieves your activities from Strava and links each one to the workout scheduled for the same day. Activities from other days won't mark a planned workout as completed.
Outside the app — How it works:
Record your ride with Strava.
Open Movyn.
Your ride is linked to the same day's workout.
Today's workout is marked as completed — See? Today's workout is already marked as completed. Tap on it.
Your data came from Strava — Distance, duration, and heart rate data were imported directly from Strava.
Strava appears under Sources — Under Sources, you'll see Strava. That's how you know where the data came from. If the activity was linked to the wrong workout, tap Unlink Activity.
Choose what gets imported: tap your profile — Go back and tap your profile.
Tap My Integrations — Then tap Strava.
Tap What Syncs — This screen shows the automatic import options.
Choose what gets imported automatically — Everything Automatically is the default setting. You can also choose Only Rides, Only Activities Matching Your Plan, or Don't Import Automatically.
Tap Only Rides — Only train on your bike? Tap Only Rides. This setting applies to your account across all devices.
Tips
Activities from other days won't mark a planned workout as completed. An activity can only be linked to a workout scheduled for the same day.
Manually linking an activity using Link Activity within a workout works regardless of which import option you've selected.
