# How to request a refund for a subscription purchased directly in App Store or Play Store

### How to Request a Refund

#### 🍏 For iOS Users (Apple App Store)
If you purchased a subscription or in-app item on an iPhone or iPad:
1. Go to [reportaproblem.apple.com](https://www.google.com/search?q=https://reportaproblem.apple.com\&utm_source=gemini\&authuser=1) and sign in with your Apple ID.
2. Tap or click **"I'd like to"**, then choose **"Request a refund"**.
3. Choose the reason why you want a refund, then select **Next**.
4. Select the app subscription or item, then choose **Submit**.

#### 🤖 For Android Users (Google Play Store)
If you purchased through an Android device:
1. Go to [play.google.com](https://play.google.com/?utm_source=gemini\&authuser=1) or open the **Google Play Store app**.
2. Tap your profile icon at the top right > **Payments & subscriptions** > **Budget & order history**.
3. Find the purchase you want to return and tap **Report a problem**.
4. Select the option that describes your situation, fill out the form, and note that you would like a refund.
